POSTER SESSION INFORMATION

University students and faculty are invited to present posters at the Nebraska Research & Innovation Conference—Microbiomes from Different Habitats: Soil, Water and Gut—October 16-17 at theĀ Embassy Suites Hotel: 1040 P Street, in downtown Lincoln.

The deadline to register a poster is October 1, 2018.

Poster presentations at this year's event are intended to encourage participation and interaction among attendees. Graduate and undergraduate students engaged in microbiomes science are strongly encouraged to present a poster; faculty members and postdocs may also present their relevant posters. Since this symposium is on a focused topic, posters from other research areas are not encouraged.

First authors must provide names of all co-authors in addition to a poster title and an abstract of approximately 100-150 words on the online registration form. Read below for specific information on poster presentations.

Poster Session Presenter Instructions

When you register to attend the symposium, you will be asked if you are presenting a poster. Only first authors (or the author actually presenting the poster) should respond "yes" to this question. You will then be provided with questions to present your poster. You can provide the information at this time, or access your account later to provide the poster information. The poster registration will ask you to provide additional authors' names, a title, and a 100 to 150 word abstract for your poster.

Posters should be no larger than four feet by four feet. Easels, poster boards, and tacks will be available to assist you in displaying your poster.

Your assigned poster number will be included in the poster and abstract handout included in your conference registration packet.

You may set up your poster beginning at noon on October 16. Please plan to have your poster set up by 4:15 p.m. Your poster number will be attached to your poster easel.

The poster session will begin at 4:25 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m. You are required to staff your poster during this time.

We look forward to seeing you at the Symposium.
