University students, postdocs, and faculty are invited to present posters at the 2023 Nebraska EPSCoR NRIC event. The deadline to register a poster is March 3!
Poster presentations are intended to encourage participation and interaction among all attendees. Students especially are encouraged to present posters, but postdocs and faculty are also welcomed to present a poster. First authors must provide names of all co-authors in addition to a poster title and an abstract of no more than 200 words on the online registration form. Read below for specific information on poster presentations.
Poster Session Presenter Instructions
You will have the opportunity to register your poster when you register to attend the Symposium. You can register to attend the conference and register your poster all at once, or you can return to the form later to provide poster information. You will use the link in your confirmation email to modify your registration to continue or finish your poster information. Submit your registration form after you have all sections completed.
- Only the first author may register the poster. The poster registration will ask you to provide additional authors' names, a title, and a 200-word abstract for your poster.
- If you have a second poster to present, you can have one of the poster's other authors register and present that poster, if they do not have their own poster to present. If you need to present both posters, please email the information for the second poster to epscor@nebraska.edu, with that poster's information (author names, poster title, and abstract) AS WELL AS the first poster’s title, so both posters can be numbered and placed next to each other.
- Posters should be no larger than four feet by four feet. Poster boards and tacks will be available to assist you in displaying your poster.
- Your assigned poster number will be included in the poster and abstract handout included in your conference registration packet.
- You may set up your poster when you arrive at the conference on March 17. Please plan to have your poster set up before 9:45 a.m. Your poster number will be attached to your posterboard spot.
We look forward to seeing you at the Conference.
